Leadership

Ms. Sangeeta Basu, Founder and Chairperson

Founder and Chairperson of QATA, Ms. Sangeeta, has to her credit a versatile certification in ACCA, ACMA/CGMA, CFA, CIA, ACAMS, CISA, ACMA(India), FATCA/CRS, GRI certified from GRI institute and CFA’s ESG investing. She is Ex-PwC, Ex-E&Y and has a vast professional experience in the field of risk management, gap analysis, internal audit, corporate finance, anti-money laundering compliance and ESG advisory services in Britain and the Gulf countries. She spearheaded the preparation of many ESG reports for some of the major companies across the Gulf region, including Dar Al Arkan. Sangeeta has demonstrated a strong proficiency in AML compliance and FATCA CRS through her extensive experience in Qatar and the UAE, where she successfully completed numerous assignments in these areas. She is also the manager and head of the management consultancy division of F & Y Auditors and Chartered Accountants, Qatar. She had also served as the director of Sterling School of Management Studies, Mumbai in the year 2006.

Mr. Mukund, Managing Director

Acting as QATA’s Managing Director, Mukund is an ACMA and a social auditor certified from NISM. He has also served as a senior consultant at F & Y Auditors and Chartered Accountants, Qatar since past four years. He is an experienced management consultant with over 18 years of relevant experience in business valuations, feasibility studies, internal audit, FATCA/CRS, Anti-money laundering compliance audit, GAP Analysis, ESG Reporting BRSR and preparation of policy and procedure manuals. I have experience in the cooperative Banking sector, hospitality sector, farming & agriculture and manufacturing sector. He has experience in AML compliance, feasibility studies, risk management, social impact assessment in India and the UAE. He has trained ICMAI students in Intermediate and Final level. He is also a visiting faculty of Pillai Institute of Arts, Commerce & Science, Panvel, Navi Mumbai.

Sengeny Balaraman, Director

Acting as a director for QATA, Mr. Sengeny is ACMA and a social auditor having a post qualification experience of more than 10 years in income tax, GST, internal audit, stock audit, Bank audit and maintenance of cost records and cost audit compliance. He was a Chairman of Pondicherry Chapter of Cost Accountants. As a Chairman and Managing Committee member, he has conducted various professional development programs for the members & conducted various seminars, workshop and joint programs in association with Universities, Colleges for the knowledge empowerment of students and faculties.
